Peck, MI – The Peck High School Marching Band made an unforgettable impression at this year’s TFOTA Marching Band Festival, earning straight ones in music, marching, and general effect, but to top it off, taking home the highest overall score of the competition!
At the festival, bands are evaluated individually with ratings in music, marching, and general effect. After all scores were tallied, the highest scoring band was announced — and the Pirates of Peck claimed the top honor!
They performed their halftime show, “Her Time to Shine,” a dynamic tribute celebrating legendary women in music.
The festival included bands from Caro, Ubly, Capac, Brown City, Marlette, Cass City, Yale, Lakers, and Bad Axe.
With this achievement, the Peck High School Marching Band shows that a small school can deliver a big sound and an even bigger impact on the festival stage.
